Shops of all kinds are along the corridors, with open air cafes strewn around the neighborhood in fashionable taste. Luxury dining is available day or night with many popular cultures and cuisines.

The night life is second to none, and those that have moved to places like Las Vegas have either moved back or are hoping to. There is just no comparison when it comes to the youthfulness and dedication of Hillcrest families and volunteers to make their part of San Diego the best it can be. Hillcrest is home to one of the more beautiful residential areas of San Diego. When you consider how it was built you must realize that the large single family homes are not commonplace to the rest of the county. Then again, fall over yourself trying to get a place when costs are some of the lowest in the city starting at about $300,000 for a single family dwelling.
