So ..the median sales price in central San Diego through February of 2006 is 540,000 all the beach communities from Pont Loma, Mission Beach,La Jolla back through Mission Valley, Downtown, Coronado and all the way down to University City. The biggest winner so far this year has been Coranado with a 168% increase in sales price from the year before, and Downtown at 138% in a very respectable second.
In the North County San Diego market the median price has been a bit higher at about 580,000 inland and almost 643,000 along the coast. North County is beautiful in my opininon and a great place to be involved with real estate.
The East County of San Diego is coming in at a median price of 490,000 thousand as of right now. People who bought ten years ago out there cheap are laughing right now, at least they should be. East county is a nice piece of land.
In South County down buy Chula Vista, Imperial Beach and National City among others the prices are in the 560,000 range.
